Trishul arranges several technical trainings, such as handicrafts and sewing, to empower marginalized young people.
Trishul promotes northern ethnic cultures of Santal and Orao community, preserving their music and dance.

Engineer Trina Majumder is the founder and president of âTrishul Shomajkallyan Shongsthaâ. Her school was Naogaon Govt. Girls High School, Naogaon and College was Holy Cross College, Dhaka. She has completed a B.Sc from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology in Electrical & Electronics Engineering(EEE). Though her profession is engineering, she has involved herself with non-technical social activities. Being a member of a political family, she got the opportunity to mix with people from all walks of life. She has gained experience about the ethnic groups, destitute, and marginalized peopleâs livelihoods. She has also closely observed the real-life experiences of village women in the country. Not only that, Ms. Trina is also a cultural activist. Indeed, she was born and brought up by seeing the versatile culture of Bangladeshi Tribals (Especially Santal & Orao) as her born place is a rich cultural hub. Nowadays, unfortunately, our culture particularly ethnic community culture is under threat. It is getting lost with the time.
During her social activities, she could understand the problems that are facing the backward section of people of society. Again, she has been motivated by the goal of âSmart Bangladesh by 2041ââ in which it mentioned that no one will be left behind in Bangladesh.
Therefore, she founded âTrishulâ in 2019.
